Looking for 84 degrees everyday in Michigan? Look no further Boyne Mountain has launched their new Avalanche Bay. A rip roaring water adventure that sports splish splashing rides like no other waterpark you have ever seen. The Swiss-Austrian “hit by an avalanche” inspired theme boasts “Fritz” the St. Bernard mascot and his friends saving from the unpredictable Michigan weather. The water is 89 degrees all day everyday and 800 gallons of it gushes out of the Splasher Horn Mountain every 10 minutes onto the eagerly awaiting fans below.
 
Avalanche Bay is not just another waterpark, its 88,000 square foot compiled of 14 aquatic rides for all ages including Michigan’s first surf simulator, Vertigo-Cannonbowl slide, South Wall wet climbing wall and a multi-level arcade with over 100 games. Other stomach dropping water rides include the Super G and the 4-person race ride, the Downhill Mat Racer will satisfy the need for speed with this water whipping ride that will have you competing for the gold!
 
Ready to dry-off, you can choose the arcade with over 100 of the most exciting arcade games. Hungry, Boyne has that covered to, step into one of the six unique restaurants located on the property. Located in the waterpark area is the Snack Shack and the Apres’ Ski Club both are family friendly, both carrying snack foods and the Ski Club stocks a full bar for the thirsty adults.

Looking to venture out of the waterpark you can enjoy Everett's Restaurant & Lounge pays homage to this pursuit of the sporting life, preparing a fine menu featuring some of Everett's favorite fish and game dishes as well as some of the most cutting edge cuisine found in the region.

If you need a warm up try the Das Café or the Eagles Nest available by chair lift only with uncomparable views of the slopes in all seasons.
