NATURE PHOTOGRAPHER DON McKERCHER EXHIBITS AT FARMINGTON CITY HALL THROUGH OCTOBER 20th

Celebrating Nature’s Beauty, a photography exhibit by Don McKercher, will be in the corridors of the Farmington Hills City Hall  (31555 W. Eleven Mile Rd.) and the Farmington City Hall (23600 Liberty at Grand River) through October 20th as part of the Art in the Corridor exhibit series.

Don McKercher, a long-time Farmington Hills resident, has taken photos on trips to Europe, Hawaii, and almost all of the continental U.S.  His primary subject is the beauty of the outdoors -- flowers, trees, shorelines, sunsets, lakes, rivers, and wildlife --  and he highly recommends the City’s Heritage Park and Woodland Hills Park for nature photos in all four seasons.  McKercher uses a digital camera with a 10x optical zoom lens, which has enhanced his photography.  He currently teaches digital photography classes and works for EDS in Auburn Hills.

Celebrating Nature’s Beauty, encompasses more than 50 framed color photographs of scenic vistas.  The exhibit, which features many photos for sale, is open to the public during regular business hours.
