Joyce Chang was named features editor in January 2007, and oversees the magazine’s fashion and beauty feature stories. She also writes a monthly review column of the latest releases in film, books, music and television. Chang joined PEOPLE in November 2004 as a staff writer in the magazine’s specials department. She worked on the magazine’s franchise issues – including Sexiest Man Alive, The Most Beautiful People, The Best and Worst Dressed, Year-End Double Issue, Oscar Style and Most Eligible Bachelors. She was formerly the assistant to the editor-in-chief at Allure and later went on to join the style department of The New York Times Magazine. In 2003, Chang was fashion news editor at Lucky magazine.
